Raw materials used in V-ribbed belt products

CR serpentine belt has certain cold and heat resistance,Not only does it has good flex resistance, its aging resistance and ozone aging resistance are also better than general unsaturated rubber.And it has good oil resistance, solvent resistance and chemical stability.Add short aramid fibers for reinforcement can withstand higher lateral pressure, increase the pressure resistance of the belt wedge, and reduce the deformation after stress.


EPDM serpentine belt in aging resistance, especially ozone aging resistance, weather resistance, heat aging is more excellent than CR belt, and its electrical insulation performance, chemical corrosion resistance, impact elasticity is better (at low temperature elastic retention performance is better).


Installation Tips

With the development of industry, the use environment of V-ribbed belts is more demanding, and errors in the use process greatly reduce the use experience. Here is how to avoid misunderstandings:


Use a tube rod to pry the belt

① Consequences: damage to the skeleton line and a significant decrease in belt strength

② Correct operation: first loosen the tension pulley, then put in the belt, and then tighten the tension pulley to the proper tension of the belt.


Improper belt installation tension

① Consequences: belt tension is too low, easy to slip, belt wear is serious, transmission failure; belt tension is too high, the cord and rubber are easily separated

② Correct operation: fixed tensioning: fixed tensioning wheel 125N—150N/wedge, automatic tensioning wheel 65-85N/wedge.
